My Testimony of God's Love and help
when you have to let go of someone you love dearly......
Our precious daughter Sara was Born July 15, 1991
and Sara departed for Heaven July 3, 1996.
The picture above to the left
is a copy of the picture that Sara drew for me the very morning before she left
suddenly. Sara told me early that morning that she was going to go home
and be with Jesus, I said yes, and it will be an exciting time for you
when this happens. I had no idea that she would be leaving this very day.
Sara handed me this picture and said look mom this is my church, my flowers, the
sunshine and me! She told me that she was not afraid to go but she did want to
know if she would take her body with her and I told her no she would not.
I explained to her how her Spirit would just step out of her body and then she
would be with the Lord very fast because the Word of God says in
2Corinthians 5:8
to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord!
After a wonderful
day together visiting with friends and family we headed back home for diner.
Sara was taking
the last bite of her hotdog that afternoon and she started choking. 10
minutes later She was gone. No maneuvers we tried would help her, the
paramedics tried their very best with all of their knowledge and
technology to revive her but she was already in the arms of Jesus. My last
words to her were I love you Sara and I know that you are with Jesus! Sara
loved Jesus, her family. friends, her pets and heaven, so I have no doubt in my
heart where she is and with
whom she is with! We did not want to give her up and it hurt so deeply, words
cannot express the pain and heartbreak that we felt. I fell upon my knees
in prayer and God helped me. He strengthened my inner being. God's presence became so real and very
strong to me! He Kept us thru this very hard and trying time. I know that
God will never leave us nor forsake us and He is a present help in times of
trouble according to Psalms 46:1.
I know this now first hand! Until I see you again Sara, We love you dearly and
we will see you again in Heaven! We have this promise from God that
whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved! Romans 10:13.
John 3:36 says
that he that believeth on the Son (Jesus) hath everlasting life but He that
believeth not on the Son (Jesus) shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth
on him. I am so very thankful to God our Father for the revelation
and gift of eternal life thru the shed blood of Jesus Christ!
John 11:26
says that whosoever liveth and believeth in me (Jesus) shall never die!
Believest thou this? God has set before us life and death, Choose this day
whom you will serve....Choose Life in Christ!
Deuteronomy 30:19
In my Fathers house are many mansions, If it were not so, I would have told you,
I (Jesus) go to prepare a place for you!
John 14:2
I know that Sara's place in Heaven is
awesome and by the faith that God has placed within me I can trust him concerning this!
Faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not yet seen! Hebrews 11:1
Hebrews 10:23 says
Let us hold fast our profession of faith without wavering for he is faithful
that promised.
Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please him; for
he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them
that diligently seek him!
I choose to believe God and in return he gives me
peace within! A peace that will calm every storm!
I want to
encourage everyone that has experienced the loss of a precious child or someone
in the faith that has gone on to be with the Lord! They are with God in
heaven and very much alive forever more! Imagine, a world without end!
1Corinthians 2:9 states that Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither entered
into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for those who love
him!
